Brent Manderson

Brent was born and brought up in Christchurch. After attending Riccarton High School he worked in the furniture and courier businesses in Dunedin and Christchurch before coming to real estate. Brent bought his first property at the age of 17 and has specialised in the student property market. He has been managing properties for Harcourts for the last 14 years and was awarded the Property Management Business Development Manager of the Year in 2012.

Because of his extensive personal and professional experience in property management, Brent brings a wealth of experience to the job of advising landlords and managing tenants. He is client focussed, enjoys working with people and has a calm approach to dispute resolution when required.

When not at work Brent is a keen sportsman. He has participated in many a half marathon (and the odd marathon), plays touch rugby and passionately supports his daughter’s stellar career as a New Zealand women’s volleyball representative. Water skiing and boating are among Brent’s summer pursuits, and he has also developed a late interest in travel. Brent has a close understanding of the Christchurch rental market and has recently supplied the media with expert commentary on the latest market situation.
